About the Artist
I’m Brittany, the artist behind The Rowan Tree.
Creating has always been something deeply personal to me. It gives me a way to slow down, process emotion, and turn something I’m feeling into something tangible.
I believe art can hold more than beauty. It can carry memories, bring comfort, mark a moment in your life, or simply make you feel something you can’t quite put into words.
That is what I hope to create with every piece.
Something meaningful. Something personal. Something that finds you at the right time.
Because for me, art isn’t just meant to be seen.
It’s meant to be felt.
Why The Rowan Tree?
Before The Rowan Tree was ever a business, the name already meant something to me.
I was drawn to the rowan tree and its symbolism long before I named my son Rowan. Over time, that meaning became tied to him, and later, to the art I was creating.
When I started looking for a name for my work, The Rowan Tree felt like it had already been waiting for me.
It carried history, meaning, family, and a connection to nature — all things that had already found their way into my art.
So the name was never really just chosen.
It grew into what The Rowan Tree is today..
